Hey Hey Hey!!! There’s so much going on in the next few months I can barely contain my excitement. Let’s talk about it!

There are gonna be a lot of interesting announcements coming up very soon. One of those is that my new video and single ‘These Shoes’ off the upcoming album ‘Unleashed’ will be released later this month. The album will be released later this summer, but while we are waiting for it to be pressed to vinyl we have come up with a video with all your favorite things… shoes, babies, dogs, and good music! The song will be available to download later this month to give you a sneak peek at the upcoming album. Y’all have done an awesome job lately of sharing my posts and spreading the word, so please, once the video comes out, SHARE! and tell your friends all about how much you love me. Saturday, April 1st (no foolin’!) Wasted Potential will be at Grant Park for the 2nd Annual Food-O-Rama Food Truck Festival. Let me repeat that… Food Truck Festival. Wasted Potential Brass Band. What are you still thinking about? We’ll be playing from noon until about 3.

Then, Saturday evening (again, this is not a joke!) I will be playing a solo acoustic set at Grand Champion BBQ in Roswell. It’s been awhile since I’ve played a solo set and I am looking forward to playing some of my favorites in a chill environment. It’s still not outrageously hot outside and the rain washed a little of the pollen away, so why not come hang out on the patio and listen to some tunes? Oh, did I mention they have some of the best bbq in town? Yum. Music from 6:30-9:30.

Sunday, April 2, I will be kicking off a weekly gospel show at the new Darwin’s location in Sandy Springs!! We are so excited to have Darwin’s back!! Lindsay and Aiken have been working their butts off to make sure we keep the music alive. This will be a weekly show, sometimes run by me, sometimes by Daniel Harper. We plan to give you some healing on Sunday afternoons. Same Darwin’s vibe, just in a different part of town. Who doesn’t want to hang out with friends and listen to music on a Sunday afternoon? I’m getting this thing started with a killer lineup, so come out and let us know what you think of the new spot. Music from 3:30 to 6:30.

Friday, April 7, I will be playing at the annual 500 Songs For Kids Festival at Smith’s Olde Bar. Songs For Kids will be going on for several weekends at different venues and money is raised for children struggling with cancer. This is a fantastic cause that these guys started from the ground up right here in GA. They work tirelessly to help these kids year round, and this festival gives the rest of us a chance to help as well. I will be playing 59th Street Bridge at around 10:30 on Friday night, but please feel free to check the website and come to any (or all!) of the shows to support these guys. I know a lot of the artists in town that perform for this and I always have a blast. If you can’t make it to the show, you can still show your support by donating on my artist page below. This year’s theme is the 500 Greatest Feel Good Songs of All Time.

Saturday night, April 8, I will be playing a private party with Wasted Potential. Then Sunday, April 9, I will be playing a Meet & Greet for Jon Ossoff, who is running for the 6th District. I try not to get too political on here, but this is a great opportunity if you have not yet decided for whom you are voting. There will be live music from 4-5:30, then he will speak, and then more live music! So if you want to hang out and listen to some tunes and find out more about one of the candidates in your area, stop on by! I’ll be playing a song at 4 pm and hoping to ask a question or two myself. You do not have to endorse or vote for Jon Ossoff to attend this event.

Saturday, April 22, I will be playing at Little Five Points Arts Alive. For six months starting this Spring, theatre artists, dancers, musicians, circus artists, and acts of all sorts will animate the outdoor spaces of L5P, creating a warm, welcoming, and artful place for our community and visitors. This is a great opportunity to spend some time in the community and support our local environment. I’ll be playing a few times throughout the summer, with my first acoustic show 4/22 from 5-7. This will be happening every weekend all summer long, so come check it out!

Sunday, April 23 I’ll be playing a private function with Jason Beyer at Sweetwater Creek Park. And last but not least, you know what the last weekend of every month is!!! MUDCAT at Northside Tavern. I’ve been getting more involved in the band and we’ve been doing some really cool stuff. This is ALWAYS a party, so get your dancing shoes on!!! Friday and Saturday night, music starts around 10:00, $10 cover.
