No fools here! April is gonna be fun!

I started the month off by playing at Songs For Kids on April 2 at Smith’s Olde Bar. There were several amazing artists there including friends of mine, so I got to play with some new musicians and sing some backups for others, all while supporting a great cause. I encourage all of you to check this event out, it is always a good time at some fantastic venues and it happens all month long. Check out the Songs For Kids Website to learn about future dates or to donate to this amazing cause.

Tonight I will be back at Darwin’s with the band. Landon Jordan, Adam Higgins, Jody White and I will be playing some of my original tunes along with some old school blues. We would love to see your faces! Music is from 8-11, $5 cover. What else are you doing on a Tuesday evening? Darwin’s recently won the Keeping the Blues Alive award so let’s show them some love! Darwin’s is located at 1598 Roswell Rd in Marietta, GA 30062 (470)399-5060 or view their website Darwin’s Website.

This Friday the guys and I will be at The Snug in Canton. The Snug is an up and coming music venue in Canton and the staff and ownership are dedicated to quality music and its appreciation. They also have a delicious menu, so I recommend coming early to get a seat and get some grub. Landon, Adam, Paul Wagner and I will be playing a mix of originals and covers from 9-12. The Snug is located at 190 East Main St in Canton, GA 30114 (770)213-4814 or visit their website The Snug Website.

Thursday, April 21st I will be playing a new venue in a duo with Landon Jordan. We will be downtown at JCT Kitchen from 6-9pm. This will be a first for me, but they come with a strong reputation. The food looks fantastic, and we’ll be playing on their rooftop bar. Come for the atmosphere, stay for the music, and have a couple drinks in between! Seriously why would you say no to an early evening date with Atlanta’s skyline? Well, and me, of course! JCT is located at 1198 Howell Mill Rd in Atlanta, GA 30318 (404)355-2252 or check them out on the internet JCT Website.

The last weekend of April is action packed and forgive me but a tad bit confusing. Thursday, April 28, I will be back at SuBourbon Rock and Oyster Bar in Kennesaw. I have been playing there every other Thursday so far this year. They are now going to have different acts every Thursday, but I still plan to be there once a month. So those of you who have been following me in Kennesaw, I’d love to still see you out! SuBourbon Bar has great oysters (though I may never know!) and pizza from Pisano’s if you’re so inclined. But most importantly, they have a great bourbon selection and live music six nights a week. I start playing at 8:30 and play your favorite covers until around midnight. SuBourbon Bar is located at 2718 Summers St in Kennesaw, GA 30144 (770)726-2163 or check them out online SuBourbon Bar Website.

Friday, April 29, and here’s the confusing part, I will be returning to Suburban Tap in Marietta. Check your spelling and notice that these places are actually located in different cities… Suburban Tap is a local watering hole by day, a sports bar by weekend, and a respected music venue on weekend nights as well as some weekdays. They have a fantastic beer selection as well as homemade pub food. Seriously, IMO the best fried pickles in the ATL. They also have a super friendly staff and a bunch of my friends happen to hang out there. In other words, this is gonna be a party. I am scheduled to play solo this night as well, but I’m not promising there won’t be any special guests. This is a late night venue, so I’ll be starting at 10 and playing until 1am. Suburban Tap is located at 1318 Johnson Ferry Rd in Marietta, GA 30068 (770)977-4467 or go to their website Suburban Tap Website.

Then Saturday, April 30th, Adam Higgins, Paul Wagner and I will be taking the trio to a new venue in Sandy Springs, Tin Can Fish House. I haven’t been here yet, but my buddy Snave plays here all the time and he promises it will be an awesome time. I mean, Paul, Adam and I are awesome, so those chances are pretty good. Music is from 7:30-10:30. Tin Can is located in City Walk Sandy Springs at 227 Sandy Springs Place NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328 (404)497-9997 or go to their website Tin Can Website.

On another note, the album is finished!!! So now we are into the details of videos, photos, and who’s gonna help me sell this AMAZING piece of art. I’m so excited y’all, and I can’t wait to share the details with you as they surface. Get ready to have your mind BLOWN.

The website will be back up and running this month. Things are happening!!! In the meantime, please visit my websites and social media and like me, follow me, subscribe to me, all of the above!
